What pc and from where?

The overclockers web site that you linked looks good daisymtc. The machines have good reviews. What OS would you recommend vista 64 bit? Basic? If you could explain what you are saying about the chipset and mobo a bit more to me i would be greatful, I know very little about pcs.

I think most ppl go for home premium. You can go to Microsoft website, they will tell u difference of different version.

Currently, 680i/ 780i/ 790i support SLi set up at full speed, while 650i/ 750i Sli at x8. So if you want to SLi, you want GPU to be run at full speed.
However, 680i offically not supporting C2Q 45nm and 790i only support expensive DDR3 RAM, and thus 780i chipset is the way if you want to run SLi set up.

Q6600 and E8400 are the 2 most popular gamer CPU. E8400 is faster in current gaming now, due to most games not ultize quad core at the moment.
In long term, Most ppl would choose Q6600.

However, if you buy from OcUK, their system - Q6600 + 4GB DDR2 800 RAM + 8800GTS 512MB is £105 over the E8400 + 2GB RAM + 8800GTS 512MB

So, you are paying extra £55 for a Q6600 over E8400, which is definately not worth.
