Default I wanna upgrade my computer

So, as you can see in the title i would like to upgrade my computer with a new CPU but i hear that i should upgrade ur motherboard if you upgrade your CPU, well i want a 3.0ghz CPU anykind will do and a compatible motherboard would do, if you could list any that are compatible with my computer please list thank you!

You have a Socket 754 board, so you really have nowhere to go but upgrade the motherboard and CPU/memory and video. Cant tell anything about your harddrive. Looks like a complete upgrade. Do you want to go with Intel or AMD?

The MAX processor you can get for your current motherboard is 2.4 Ghz.

So you need a new motherboard and processor.

But aren't we forgetting; PSU, graphics card, RAM

You got a budget there??

Well i want to run Age of Conan (MMORPG) with 55+ FPS, if i dont have the money now ill get it later just list some stuff that would be good,

Hard Drive Space : 30 GB

Processor : Core 2 Duo E6600 or equivalent
