Posted a while back saying I was thinking about building a computer for my parents.
Just wondering, what do you think of a deal like this? http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product...se=&lang=en-US Worth it? |

ZT computers look great on paper but they are very unreliable. I am the tech specialist at officemax and we sell these from time to time. They're very cheap and come with good core components but they always come back. More than any other computer that I've sold they have by more the most dead on arrivals and I've had quite a few people contact me on how to get service through our extended warranties. That being said, I've sold quite a few and have never heard a thing about them but it's still a much better value to build or if not I would just keep an eye out for more good deals. These fall into that "too good to be true" category.
