Default Would this work?

I have this motherboard:
http://www.mbx.com/p/asus/a7v400_mx/

And I want this RAM:

PC3200 512MB DDR 400Mhz FSB
Regular Sale Price: $42.00
Cash Price: $39.88
(Limited 2 per household)

My mother board will only supprt 2700 RAM or w/e, but will the 3200 work, but just at 2700 speeds?

Yes putting PC3200 RAM in will work, and yes it will run at PC2700.

having 2 ram slots doesnt make it a crap motherboard, it just means theres less room for upgrade. but 1GB of RAM is plenty
