Just a heads up right now, neither one are very good gaming systems. You would likely want to buy a separate video card on top of the system you're already buying. Why are these the only two choices?

I'll leave it to others to pick one of these dogs.

I don't know how good the pentium dual-cores are, so I'd go with the AMD.

They should take XP without a problem. It's not like new computers these days won't. Drivers are sometimes a factor, but I don't think you'll have an issue with these builds.

They both will run XP no problem. The money isn't so much an issue, its more specifically those two you picked. You can get considerably better systems for the same amount of money.

Is it an option for you to build your own? I highly recommend it, there's really no reason to be nervous about it. If it is an option, that would be the way to go.

Building your own system is very cost efficient and is much easier than new builders would think. Most people are nervous as they go into their first build, put it together in half an hour, and then never buy a prebuilt system again. Call it one of life's little secrets, at least as the average person goes.

we thought of building our own but finding what we want kinda was hard lol. plus my bf is the one buying this and they use that site they will not buy from other sites so we have to go off of that site. we picked them two cause how they looked and what they came with. Well out of the others on that site we like them two... thanks for the help and all we wont be buying any till a few months from now. who knows we might see if we can build.

can i ask out of the two what video card is better or are they both good looking?

If you won't be buying for a little while yet, I would consider getting build opinions then instead of now, as prices will continue to drop for everything. Again, I highly recommend building your own, and you would have excellent advice down to exact components to buy from here, for your budget.
