Default Vista Installation Problems

I'm trying to install Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit on my computer down-stairs. It starts to install but when it installs Expanding Files it stays at 0% and after around 10-15 minutes it says it's been cancelled.

Also what's an OPK and do I really need it?

check the disk for scratches and dust
if it doesn't work, you should contact microsoft
