Well I wasn't sure if this thread goes in the motherboard or video card section but o wells...
Ok, so for my new build I got the Abit AN52 motherboard but I was looking at it the other day and it seems that the Northbridge heatsink will be in the way of the video card! http://abchw.com/img/motherboard/abi...et_am2_001.jpg So now I'm not sure if the video card I want to get (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130333) will fit :/ so I looked at the XFX 8800GS which has a smaller heatsink but heard the fan is loud and stuff, but I would prefer getting the EVGA one. Do you guys think the card will be fine or what?

that northbridge heatsink doesnt protrude upwards as much as you might think... I would say it would be fine to get the evga card.

That chip only goes about as high as the card slot; I had a heatpipe going under my 8800GT on my old board and that was no-where near in the way despite looking like it might.

Well I was thinking of getting the 8800GT but I went cheap on the CPU (Athlon 64 LE -1600) and I dont have enough for it, still need a PSU
