Hello all, I'm building a gaming rig and here's my newest (finest?) build I came up with:
Case: NZXT Apollo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811146025 CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0Ghz http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...tCode=10007603 GPU: XFX 8800GTS (G92) 512MB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150267 Mobo: MSI P7N SLI Platinum http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...tCode=10007647 HD: Western Digital Caviar 500GB http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...ode=101259-RFB RAM: Mushkin 4GB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820146692 PS: OCZ GameXStream 600W http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...uctCode=316504 CPU Cooler: Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835186134 I want to spend money as less as possible and still get a pretty decent gaming rig (basically, I'm capped at 1000$ now :/). What do you guys think of this? Oh, and I chose a SLI motherboard because I'm considering SLI'ing the video card in the near future. Also, can anyone tell me what are the differences between the MSI P7N SLI Platinum motherboard and the ASUS P5N-D motherboard? They are at same price so I don't know which one to choose ![]() greets |
