I had verizon DSL stand alone service back about 2 months ago. I canceled it and went back to cable. Ok, My internet stooped working and my account became disabled. Ok fine, I happened to plug in my DSL modem the other day and the DSL light on the modem became steady like it was picking up a signal, but the internet light was red ( witch that is supossed to happen because the account has been disabled ), I tryed to access the internet and it would not go. My question is, why is the DSL light still on? Does the signal always stay on the line after you cancel a stand alone service?

Update: You can discard, I unplugged the phone line to the modem and the DSL light was still on, Looks like there is a problem with the DSL modem. Thanks allot tho!
