The 9800 series IS better, I would go for one of those if you can afford it. You won't see a massive boost, but they are definately better.

yeah if you can afford it then buy a 9800GTX.

and yes q6600's have lower multipliers but with a good motherboard they are STILL one of the best processors. i've said it a million times, but there is no dual core that will beat a quad core in the long run.
