Unhappy cant connect to inernet on vista

hello
i've got vista ultimate 32-bit and i open my comp 10 times
- a single time it connects to the internet
otherwise it says
network
accses: local only
i have a speedtouch modem (i dont know the model right now, i have to look on the box but i'm too lazy) and an edimax broadband ethernet router (same thing here )
what should i do to connect to net everytime i start my comp???

Are you sure that ur network driver is up-to-date? if it is then i think ur NIC is not compatible with Vista... try a PCI NIC... that should do it.

cant find a driver for speedtouch 516 modem...can sbody hlp me...?
