There may be an option in the configuration page that allows the router to work solely as a switch/access point. I know the Linksys and Belkin routers I have use this feature, which allows me to basically disable all routing and DHCP features.

Disable DHCP features, change the IP to a different IP than your other router. Plug in the DHCP and DNS features of the main router, and it will work. Yes, I have done this before and it worked for me.
It is also dependent of your router's firmware, and if the firmware sucks and lacks features then you may not be able to configure it. |
