Hi, I haven't done anything weird on my laptop recently, I've downloaded some ebooks (from torrents) but scanned them all with AVG 8 Anti-Virus full version.
Today I noticed that I couldn't open certain programs, such as notepad, messenger, control panel, run, task manager, windows movie maker, ... Pretty bad shape if I cant open my control panel/run/task manager ... I want to know what can I do to get rid of this ugly ass problem, I really concerned I might have a torjan or something, help please. Would a system restore help? Well for that I need to be able to open any of the three: task manager, run, control panel. I will try it on safe boot mode and edit this post rewarding to if I can run any of those applications in safe boot mode.

Hi, since you have downloaded the books illegally from torrent downloads, we will be unable to help you as it conflicts with the rules of this forum.
Please bear with us.
