The WD stands for Western Digital as tlarkin said.

You can guess the rest from the title, without even googling it I believe it's a 250GB IDE hard drive.

Yea, it's an ATA drive.

As already said, it's a Western Digital 250GB. It's got an 8MB cache and is PATA I don't know what the string after the hyphen means though.
