Default Whats the right KVM for me?

I am looking to set up my computer to work in two seperate rooms. I can run wires between the rooms since they are adjacent so there is no need for any fancy wireless items. I have a few movies stored on my computer so the plan is to have the computer display a movie on my LCD TV (which will be the other monitor) and still be able to use the computer to its full capabalities (gaming/web/docs/etc.). I am worried about having a bad display. So how do I pull this off with out loosing a good quality picture? I dont want to go way overboard on price because then I would just build another computer. The LCD TV has VGA port/HDMI/Component/and RCA. The computer currently has 2 DVI ports and a S video port. What product out there will work for me.

You can use a DVI to HDMI adapter for the LCD TV (monitor 1) and the other DVI to your other monitor (monitor 2)

The wiring through the wall shouldn't degrade the signal unless you're running it next to the outlet or something.
