I have a GA-945GZM-S2 mobo (rev 3.something) and I want to buy a Q6600 processor. The Gigabyte website says that this processor is unsupported, but it also says that the mobo can OC to 1066MHz. I am wondering if I can get this processor to work, or if I should try something else. Thanks!

This is the site i'm looking at (http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/...ProductID=2425) and it says it doesn't support it, so it won't support it. You will have to buy a new motherboard.
