Default Flashdrive - Password protected?

Hey guys...
I was just wondering if there is some sort of program or a way of formatting a flash drive, to make it like everytime i plug it into a computer it would prompt me for a password..

If this isn't possible is there a way to put a password on a folder?
Without it being a .rar or compressed file.

Thanks CF.

One of my flash drives has the perfect software on it. I don't think it was made specifically for the device, but I can't, for the life of me, remember where to download it!

Its on an old 64MB Intelligent Stick. It's named Passman.exe (also shows PassmanX). When you insert the device, it only shows this program and won't allow you to read or write anything until you run it and enter the password. Pretty neat stuff...

I'll Google it.
Seems to be that something of the sort exists...
I found this... looks promising. (http://www.ebookspdf.com/computers/1...5-user-manual/)
Except the link doesn't work...
Any chance of uploading that file for me ?
If anyone else knows anything post it up.

I saw that link before, then saw it was for CompUSA, which is obviously no more...at least the old site. As for uploading it, I can, but I tried it on another flash drive and it didn't work. Apparently you need the original installer. I'll ask dad if he still has it somewhere. We both got one of these flashdrives way back when. 64MB for $20....that was a good deal back when I got it

Transcend Drives also come with this software. It is on their site to download. It also has a program that will lock your pc if you unplug the drive. It's kinda cool.
