Default motherboard?

can you help me find a good motherboard? i need it to have space for 4gbs quad core support pcie x16 and it needs to be a good overclocker any ideas?

no x38/x48 are very good. its just that for some people, PCI-E 2.0 and DDR3 is not appealing as of yet, so P35 is still great.

I have my Q9450 clocked at 3.4 and very stable on a P5K Premium P35 board, also using 4 gigs of memory.

so the p35 chipset is a good one then? could you overclock it higher then that if you wanted to?

With the Q9450 on air about 3.6 is all I'll get out of it .There are some with a watercooling setup that have reached 3.8 to 4.0. But I'll stick with air cooling for now until I learn more about a water setup.
