Default What's the name already?

It's a surge protector with X number of power charged into it, so if you lose power you can keep running what's plugged into it.

I can't seem to find it on the net, I searched surge protector generator, etc... nothing relevant.

^^ Correct. Keep in mind it will only keep your stuff powered for so long before the battery dies.

Yes and it is best to buy a UPS new because then you will have the UPS for a long time and the battery life will last a lot longer.
