@maroon1: thanks for that data info, that convinced me to switch from AMD to intel.
As such I've switched everything up, and greatly appreciate your opinions and advice. I've switched over to an Intel core 2 duo E8300 For the mobo I'm looking at a microstar P6N SLI platinum. Picking out a mobo is probably where I would be worst at though >_> For a single video card right now I'm leaning toward the Nvidia 8800 GTS 512Mb But like I said, I would like your opinions on this though for compatability and limiting of bottlenecks. |
