Default bells and whistles vs warranty

latitude D830 vs XPS M1530

latitude comes with the base of what i want, with a 3 yr warranty

xps comes with absolutely everything i want, but only a 1 yr warranty

yeah well you will have a lot more power to mess around with as far as components go... and the battery will last longer so you wont have to have it charging as much... great for college haha

Call dell and ask about warranties. For alienware, you can buy a warranty later if you can't afford it when you get the laptop.
