Those games dont take much power and I believe that laptop should do fine.

As for a laptop at that price, I cant really help you. You may have better luck posting in the Laptop Section (2nd category down) and just ask if this is a good laptop for the price.

CS:S really needs a proper graphics chip like a GeForce Go 7400 or better. I justr don't think that laptop will play CS:S, in fact most laptops under £500 will struggle.

That laptop is really overpriced. Try newegg.com.

That laptop converts to about $850 usd, and for that you can get a dedicated card, twice the hard drive space, more ram, faster processor, ect. Even if prices are higher in the united kingdom, that is a rip off.

sorry mate but my second computer runs CS:S fine on mediam at 1024x768 on a FX5200 and still gets around 30-40 fps and my 6800 GT runs on full at 1440x900
and get 90-100 fps you dont need a 7400 to run it, that laptop will run it.

Yeah, the POS in my sig runs on low scrapping by with around 30 fps on most maps.

CSS doenst take as much power as one would suspect. But it was also released a while ago. Its a fairly old game. (August '04)
