Question Please help me i need somebody who knows what they are talking about

I am making a new computer and haven't gone this route before. I need help on confirming my cart to make sure all the parts are compatible with each other and will work nicely. I am going to overclock eventually but not right away, that is why i don't have a cooler yet, also i am going sli but again not right away. please help me check it out by clicking the links and making the cart then looking it over. thanks i appreciate it.

also i wasn't sure on the cooling system whether to get the tuniq tower, or go with water cooling? if you had any suggestions on which is the better way to go.

I don't think you should go with a quad core, its a waste of money. Nothing can utilize 4 cores yet. Just get a top of the line core2duo.

thank you for the feedback! it is so helpful and making me feel more confident about this rig. i might post some pictures later on not sure if anybody would care though haha. but i already have 2 drives and windows vista ultimate sitting here next to me. please people write more though i really appreciate it

Not many programs use all 4 cores YET, but they WILL very soon. (Im guessing the next 1-3 years). The 9450 is a great choice if you can afford it (and by seeing the other parts your purchasing, I can see money is no factor )

So yeah, I would definatly go for the quad over the dual, it will help you in the long-run if you dont want to upgrade in another 2-3 years.

HL2 can And Quad Cores ARE worth the price. NOTHING? Haha! Windows, lots of multitasking programs...

Quad Cores were created because they were going to be used, not to goggle and drool at.

Notice how almost all newer servers these days carry Quads?

Well... a cheap setup would be the Q6600 ($200) and a G31... should work and OC quite well.
