Default where do i get XP drivers for HP m8430f?

got a new computer that has vista x64, i want to put xp on it as well, where can i get drivers for all the hardware?

Since Hp doesn't list XP drivers for that model, you will will have to search for XP drivers for each hardware device listed in device manager. You will need to find sound, video, network, chipset, modem and possibly others. Do a google search on each item to see if you can find XP drivers for it, you may get lucky. What I would do is get a extra drive and try installing XP before you screw up your Vista installation.

You could still try the Vista drivers. If HP doesn't carry it, most 3rd party sites won't either.

how do i determine the brand and model of the hardware, is there no way to install xp, unless i have drivers for all the hardware?

^^ You can still install but, some of the hardware wont be detected/working without the correct drivers.
