Since you have that Asrock board. Like said any of the Core 2 would play it fine. Just go for the most your budget will let you. Your biggest problem will be the 9250.

but i think $10 more is worth it to double the cache. going from 4mb to 6mb might be very marginal, but 512kb to 1mb is noticeable. and this is referring to the e1000 and e2000 line

would i notice the difference between an 800mhz FSB and a 1066MHZ FSB

No, unless you are running heavy games and/or multimedia apps, and even so the difference would *probably* be marginal.
