hey i was talking 2 my friend today and he said that if you are using 32bit windows the max ram/memory you can have is 3gigs, & that if you want more than 3 gigs of ram you need to use windows 64bit is this true?

That is correct! I have windows vista ultimate 32bit and i have 4gbs but it only recognizes 3.3Gbs
