Exclamation Company laptop is mine now.........BUT

I was given a company laptop a while back, they've said i can keep it which is cool so i want to format/wipe/reinstall it etc. But when i start it up it still asking for logon info and my work server to connect to! (Net boot ot something??) Course I'm no longer with this company, and when i try to boot from a boot disk (oh yeh i didnt get a recovery disk either) it gives me the following....

Initializing and Establishing Link...

PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable.
PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel Boot Agent

Do i have to change some BIOS settings or something? Im not experienced in these areas lol, all help is much appreciated, until then I cant use the laptop . Its running xp pro by the way, Intel

what do i do?????
