My total Graphics Memory is : 2046
Dedicated Video Memory: 768
System Video Memory: 0
Shared System Memory: 1278

Something is definately amiss, but my problem is what is it? I've had this system for over a year and it's always been like this. Dell tech support doesn't help at all because they can only do things over the phone and can't physically come here. What can I DO to solve this problem?

You sure your drivers are up to date?

I guess those others do look low, aside from Crysis.

Yeah I just updated all of them from the website. What can I do? Anything that I can do to check what's wrong, or if you could tell me, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Run 3Dmark06 and see what score you get, but what your getting is probably about right. In those few games, it may be a driver problem.

I think you have vertical sync on. Read up on it here.

The solution is to turn of vsync in games but it comes at a cost. When moving around quickly with your mouse you may see some "chopped off" frames, this is referred to as tearing. And as the human eye will not notice a difference between about 25 fps and anything over it you should be okay.

Quick question.... What do you use to find the FPS of these games?

Oh I can definately see the difference between 25 and 60. The human eye cannot see above 60. 25 is damn low choppy XD and no, my V-sync is off. I tried it on and off and to no avail! And yeah, everything is capped at 60 no matter what I do, i run my settings, and it's probably my monitor. I just went to a friend's house today. He had the same OS, 2 gigs (1/2 mine), 1 gig GPU (1/2 mine), 2.66 duo core (same), and he can run UT3 smoothly, unlike me. My question is what can I do to actually troubleshoot my problem so I can get to the bottom of this? I also have the latest drivers, and so does he :/
