I think 360 because aside from everything else the online experience is awesome (even though it does cost $60 a year).

ps3 because for the price, your get a blu-ray player, a computer and a gameing system. Also the games are able to be great quality b/c it is blu-ray and the games also have free online. the controlers fit in your hands better and are usb connectors so if you lose a cable you dont need to spend 10$ on a new cable...

I think they made improvements.
They also extended to warranty to a few years so you shouldnt have to worry about that. I wouldnt say base your decision on fear of the RROD.

But my vote still goes for ps3 as i explained earlier.

There is a 3 year RROD warranty and they changed to 65nm CPU's and I believe they changed to 65nm GPU's as well.

I talked to my boss. he has a 360 and doesn't want it anymore. he might cut me a deal on it so I could get a PS3 as well. so i get the best of both worlds.
