I have 19.2 GB Left on my C Drive and its max is 86.3 GB Would it be good if I just bought a new bigger one, or just get an external hard drive? I don't know much about external drives, I know most people use them for music, videos, files they don't use but want to keep. And the C Drive is for games and what not, stuff you use frequently. Please leave some suggestions, thoughts, anything

They have trailing power and/or data cables that only too easily serve to pull them over, drag them off desks or otherwise expose them to further risk. Unlike the hard drive in your PC or Laptop, which is cooled by a fan, external drives seldom have cooling fans and, in an effort to make them as small as possible, the hard drive(s) inside rarely have much free air space around them. This can result in overheating with the attendant problems that causes. Look at this link, they have some of the major external Har disk brands http://www.easybuyelectronics.co.za/...ive-c-249.html

actually, multiple hard drives is a tried and true way to go. There's a thing called RAID (Redundant Array of Independant Disks) that will allow performance increases and Redundancy (Fault Tolerance), but you have to have a special controller to implement that. Something that's important to remember though: you want to make sure you have a copy of all CRITICAL data in a differant PHYSICAL location in case of total hardware failure, fire, or natural disaster. If you like to take your data with you from time to time, you should get an External Drive. These usually are Plug-N-Play.

I would personally get a internal, it's not usually worth the extra cash, and I prefer the speed ^^
You could just buy an enclosure and pull it out every time you needed it.. |

You can also find hard drive enclosures that will house an internal drive. This way your hard drive is portable and is also nice for transferring data to a different pc.
