Well, The problem is, Telstra Owns the Lines.

Going to another ISP wont work

Telstra controls where they go.

So, Telstra doesnt want us to be on the Exchange supporting Broadband, We dont get broadband.

No ISP can help us. . .

Try to look for an ISP that offers wireless internet, you might get some luck out of that.

Hahaa... finally, a thread where I can freely bash Telstra and no-one's going to argue. So.

TELSTRA SUCKS!!!!!

We've abandoned Telstra long, long ago for good... I don't know what's the deal over there, but word "ombudsman" here worked almost like magic, granted this magic took its time. But, yea... telstra needs someone to stick a jackhammer up its @$$. Thanks to Telstra, Europeans are laughing at oz internet standards!

Unfortunatly, Telstra has whats Called 3G Network. . .

Only Telstras 3G Network gives us Good Coverage.

Other Providers Reach about 50 metres from my house with good coverage, then when i take it inside, i get 1 bar Which = around 7kb/s download speed.

Satellite, Is Expensive as giving a arm and leg to Telstra.

Something like $140 A Month for 512kb/s and a 5gig Cap.

Thats what i call a Rip.

Good to be back all
