This is for Stanglehold or anyone else with this board. Do u oc and if so what seting do u use in ur bios. I set my multiplier up some but thought I might like to oc the mem as well. Got crucial 800 mem(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...E16820146566); are there really any benefits in this when I only use the computer for the basics (ebay, banking, email, etc) and an occasional game. Thanks for your time.

As far as your memory, are you talking about lowering the timming or raising the mhz. To get the mhz up you have to raise your bus speed up from 200. If your talking about the timming after the bios loads press Ctrl and F1 at the same time and it opens more bios features. Your timming and voltage setting are under the MIT settings.
Overclocking your memory isnt really going to get you that much. You already have DRR2 800, if you put DDR2 677 in it, sitting behind the computer without running a benchmark you could probably not tell a difference. Your 5000 BE with a unlocked X, that was the point to be able to overclock and the memory stays at stock speed. But if you try every 1 mhz you raise you bus speed from 200 your memory goes up 4 mhz. If your bus is 201 your memory will be 402/804 and so on. Edit Got to go to work, be back this afternoon.

Might I also add something about overclocking components. Overclocking components likely reduces the time that they will function correctly. If you upgrade your computer a lot this isn't an issue. But if you like to hold on to what you own and get the most value of your money that you spent on a computer I would suggest running components at the manufacturer's recommended specifications.
