Default Crying Over Spilt Milk

Is there a proper way to remove milk from a keyboard? My stupid bowl of cookie-crisps just had to spill some of it's liquid contents on the left side of it, over the ~ key and the caps tab shift ctrl windows alt and the 1 q a z keys. so far, i've just turned the board upside-down and shake it over a towel/rag.

And then don't be eating/drinking near your computer unless you want to take a chance on having to buy a new keyboard every so often. All it takes is a little "preventive maintenance" to save money.

Do the keys work? I split apple juice on my favorite keyboard ever and half the keys quit working. It was a sad day.

Once happened to me, too much chocolate between the keys. Seriously. Stopped working ( all the keys! ) but all I had to do was to open the keyboard and clean the crap out and close it.
