Default Will this work?

I plan on having AVG Free with Sygate Firewall and AdAware exist with each other. Being the complete computer retard I am, I have no idea. Will this work? I'm getting a new computer soon so I want it to be clean and malware free for the longest time.

Yes, it will. But still it wouldn't protect your computer 100%. You'd have to scan your computer regularly, which means you'd have to open up Ad-aware scan your whole computer, and then AVG to scan your whole computer. That still won't protect your computer 100% , so far nothing can give you 100% protection and also they might take up alot of memory which would make your computer a bit slower.

I have Nod32 Smart Security 3.0, works fine. But of course you want free protection.
