I have a MSI NX8800GT that I bought half a year ago. It runs 660, 1900 stock; I finally managed to overclock it to 710, 2010 after I used RivaTuner to force the fan speeds up. I would push it a little higher, but it crashes; as far as I know, the only way to fix this is to up the voltage. Unfortunately the program that MSI uses, the "dual core center" not only locked me out form the fan speed but also from the voltage. Can I hack the program, or use a program like riva tuner in order to up the voltage? What is the maximum voltage a 8800GT should run on? How high have you managed to OC your 8800GT and with what voltage?

You can only overvolt a graphics card physically, with a voltmod. It's a relatively simple thing, but dangerous as if you go wrong you can explode your card! Not really, but there is a very real danger of permanent damage. If you're still interested, try google, he has what you need.
