Ok, my problem is that when I try to use my flash drive on my Windows Vista Home Premium laptop it doesn't show up in My Computer and displays something about needing to "install a drive for your Unknown Device." When I click 'locate and install drive (recommended)' I wait then it says, "Window's couldn't find driver software for your device." Then, I click "check for a solution" then something saying I should install an update for your 32 or 64-bit system which I can't because Windows Update is not working because it can't validate my software. I have also been receiving some other error messages claiming that "Windows Aero is not working," "you may be a victim of counterfeiting," and "an unauthorized changed was made to Windows." Also, my control panel won't open for some reason.

I really need to resolve this fast, I have been trying for weeks!

I don't have any viruses, I scanned at cleaned them all.

This is a legitimate copy of Windows Vista because I paid for this myself. I don't know why it won't validate it.

I bought my computer from BestBuy.
