Default is it the service....

hello gurus!i have a system which is running on windows xp service pack1.there is always an error message whenever d system is running the internet xplorer application.the error message reads 'RUN TIME ERROR,DO U WISH TO DEBUG?'i have tried restoring d system and restarting d apllication but its stiil not working.any positive advice,suggestion,soln is really appreciated pls.thanks

I would suggest downloading and installing Service Pack 2 (SP2) for Windows XP.
