Default Laptops too cheap??

http://www.unbeatenvalues.com/

I found this website seeing older model laptops for seem like way too little cash.

I've been sort of looking for an older cheap laptop, and one of these would certainly be perfect for 100 to 200 bucks.

However it just looks too cheap to be true.

Do these prices look right? I've never really understood used laptop pricing as everything on ebay seems to run high. I figured laptops just had very good resale value.

they are pretty cheap. but, the parts are pretty really outdated especially the CPU's. i'd worry about the condition of one of those though. i.e. hardware problems, viruses. we don't know what the previous owner was doing on those.

maybe if you buy one of those, add more RAM and buy a external hard drive, you're good to go. if it's just internet surfing and microsoft office apps, then they'll do the job.

You have a good attitude of figuring things out first before plunging in. Buying old laptops is good as long as you're in a secured webpage in transaction of money and typing your credit card details.

You'll get your laptop but if you're worried I see they accept paypal. I've never had a problem getting a refund using paypal, they'll just debit their account.

The Dell D600's are still pretty decent machines - they're what Pratt & Whitney gives to their employees.

Well I'm supposed to get a work laptop soon. Some are new, some are old win95 crap.

If I get one of the old ones I'll probably buy one of the $200 ones from that site. So I'll let ya know.
