Default Graphics Card VGA port?

If I install a pci express card inside the computer case how am I gonna plug my vga cable into it, or do you even need to? It just seems weird because I would have to plug my monitor into the inside of the machine.

when you install and expansion card into a computer, it has a backplate that exposes ports and plugs and such from the back of the machine. and of course you need to plug the monitor in, how else would you be able to see stuff!

Quality graphics cards should come with VGA/DVI adaptors for the plug so you can use older VGA monitors.
