Hey
I have some problem with the connection, all worked fine until it suddenly broke done. I have a d link router and all of a sudden the connection broke down and now it doesnt work. I had to connect with my modem, but now i have internet only on one computer. I tried to reinstall the comp, but it didnt work, i have no idea what the prob can be. when i connect the router, i dont get a standard gateway adress, sould it be like that? I think it something with the ip, but im not sure. Anyone who has a clue?
Appreciate an answer, thanks!

Not that you need it but....it makes things a hell of a lot easier if you have the disc that came with your router.

On the back of the router should be either a little button or a tiny hole in which is a reset switch. This will reset the router back to factory settings. Then run through the discs setup wizard to get it all setup with the correct protocols etc just as I assume you did when you first got it

Use a paper clip but as far as entering the settings manually, I will have to let someone else step in as networking is not my strongpoint and I don't want to be responsible for a half setup router
