Exclamation Disable FN key on a Toshiba

Is is possible to disable the FN key on a Toshiba laptop?

Is there a setting on the computer or any software available?

Why do you want to disable the key?

Have tried google and all the windows keyboard settings.
The reason i need to disable it is because the k/b is faulty and thinks the FN key is constantly being pressed so cannot use certain keys properly
