Yea I watched a show on National Geographic about "The World" and it was totally mind blowing. Dubai is definitely a must see place. I also saw another show on the building of the indoor ski resort on Discovery and it was awesome as well.

Oh wow. That's pretty cool. It must be slow enough so the residents don't get sick, hopefully. Well, at least it seems slow enough in the article.
But wow. that'd be something to watch. It'd be cool. A few hours taped then put into a time lapse. That'd be interesting. At least Canada holds some things, still, within the Americas: Tallest free stand structure (CN Tower, which held the title for 31 years before Burj Tower.) Biggest Shopping Mall (fourth largest in the world, largest in the Americas): West Edmonton Mall.

Wow, that looks awesome!
![]() Except I think people would get "building sick" if the wind is going too fast! ![]() And I can't believe it's only $700M seeing that there's houses that go for $1 or $2M I think it should be more than $700M... I don't know.

That's for sure, when I was looking for video's of the Bugatti Veyron on youtube, the ones I found seemed to be from Dubai.
Whilst they do import a lot of highly skilled and highly paid architects and engineers, they do also import a lot of very low paid foreign workers who work very hard for low pay, so while $700M may sound low in America, it could be a correct figure in Dubai.

that is definitely cool, win turbines can also power the building. Totally self sustained.
I wonder if it can do that, generate electricity, i mean. And Put 100 of these together, we get a nuclear power plant. +.+
