I was about to say what a waste of energy, until I saw the video and realised it was powered by wind turbines. Amazing what oil dollars will buy you.
Looks like Dubai will also have the worlds tallest building as well http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burj_Dubai Although I reckon China will try and outdo them.

Yeah, Dubai seems so rad. They have that huge indoor ski resort too dont they. Id never expect such cool stuff from the middle east. IDK, i just dont make the connection. But thats awesome.
Looks like theyre planning one in moscow too. Thats soo cool. It powers itself. I wonder if youd get motion sick if you werent used to it. |

That looks great!! Dubai gets more and more great stuff.
I went twice in 2005 when my dad was working on the Palm Project with Nakheel (I got to go on the palm Jahmeriah before it was finished )...tis a great place and looks like its going to be getting even better... i love it... yeah, the Burj Dubai is going to be the tallest building, known that for ages, old news

Hehe, but trust me. You don't want to come here now.
Everything is under construction. Most of the roads are diverted. Most of the places have construction sites. This is because of the new Dubai Metro. Also, check this out.
