The site I got my ipod battery kit from (http://ipodjuice.com) is offering ipod repair now. I had a great experience with them, I'd trust them to do my repair

you can do it. it isn't that hard i don't think, but i definitely messed my ipod up somehow when trying to replace the cover. i don't know what i did, but you have to be very careful, however it's not that difficult of a feat. best how-to video you're going to get:
