No, it is not a fact

ATI works very well on Intel chipset. Not to mention that Intel motherboards nowadays support crossfire

1. I have Ati on my MSI motherboard with intel, and i know is working fine.

2. AMD was buy ATI to survive on market in struggle with Intel.

3. AMD owns ATI (Ati work for AMD), becouse that ATI works best with AMD, his chipset fully support Ati cards.

Nvidia work for Intel.

Listen ALEKSA, Not talking Crossfire or SLI. A single ATI or Nvidia video card works just as well on a Intel-AMD or Nvidia chipset board, for that matter you can include SIS and VIA chipsets.

Read another thread. Disagree now.

If that is true, why is my HD3850 performing perfectly on an Intel based chipset (P31, ICH7)?

it is true ati cards work a bit better but not enough to want to spend £250 or $400 to switch form intel to amd

you just get a few more fps nothing big just overclock it if you really want the extra fps

stop fighting or i will say your names in caps then type somthing tryign to sound dead angry

Replacing the BIOS (In this case, on the GFX card)... to allow more overclocking/volting options and other mods. Usually voids the warranty, AFAIK.

Why is your personal experience an accurate indicator of compatibility on a whole? Also, define "perfectly". Do you mean that in a literal sense, i.e. it couldn't possibly perform better? I find that hard to believe. Do you mean that in a practical sense, i.e. it works without issues? If so, how is this an argument against AMD and ATI being more compatible than Intel and ATI? Just because Intel and ATI will work together doesn't mean AMD and ATI can't work together better. Discuss.
