Just update the driver using the Device Manager.
You're on Vista, right?

Alright, I asked because my dv6000 is on Vista.

Anyways, go to My Computer and right click on it.
Select Properties and click on, "Hardware".
Select, "Device Manager" and then go to DVD/CD-ROM drives.
Then, go to right drive, right click on it and select, "Properties".
Click on Drivers and then click on Update Driver.
