I am looking a 2 motherboards. One is the Gigabyte P5Q The other is the Asus P5K-EPU.
The P5Q has a P45 North Bridge and a ICH10R South Bridge [http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...2E16813131295] The P5K has a P35 North Bridge and a ICH9 South Bridge [http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...2E16813131277] The P5k Has 2 pci-e x16 ports but the P5Q has only 1 Tell me what you think Thanks |

P5K EPU support Crossfire (not in full speed) P5Q support 1 video card at PCI-E x 16 2.0, RAID, more SATA slot. I personally will choose P5Q. If you looking for Crossfire, you'd better off to X38/ X48 chipset. |
