I want to connect my ATT Blackberry 8310 to my laptop, and get an internet signal. I've googled this, and found a How-To, but its from 2005.
I have the Desktop Manager program and the USB cable, any ideas? Also, on a side note, can I get a better web browser for my Blackberry? Thanks.

yes it is possable. you just have to go into settings>connection> and wireless modem it should be called. then in there you will be given a option as to which connection type. select usb and hit start. then you have to set it up on your computer. i dont know the exact way but it is possable and i have done it before.

Or you're a mod going through my sig. But if you do, copy and past this in your sig. |

Alright, I'll give it a try. Do you know if there is a better web browser for the Blackberry?
Thanks.

Dude, Opera mini hands down is the best! I love it on my 8310!
Also be careful if you dont have a tethering plan through att they can charge you a bundle in charges for using it as a modem without a tethering plan. |

Hmm, would that USB Wifi thing that they offer be an option? Can I get I do a test run on the USB wifi for a week or so, before I decide to buy it?
Thanks.
