4Gb of ram
2x 500Gb hard drive and a 500gb exturnal hard drive
4.2 duo processor
real good graphic card
exerlent sound card
24" flat screen monitor and 2 19" flat screen moitors
and my sterio for my speakers

xp pro for $219?

is that the normal price?

i just won vista home premium 64 bit oem off ebay for £50 (thats about $100 right?)

everything else seems good-i got the same motherboard and i really like it and the same ram

Mobo: Get Asus/Gigabyte P45 chipset board. E.g. Asus P5Q Pro/ Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3R

Video: US price for 9800GTX already down to $200 (AUS$208). Don't get 9800GTX for AUS$389!
If you can't find it cheaper, Get ATI HD4850. It is at similar performance and you should find it around AUS$200 (I guess, as US is $180)

not that i have ever ever done it, but you can easily get any windows OS off a torrent site. I've never done it though, but it works trust me.

james, thats called pirating, and its people who pirate, cause the price of os's to go up, on a different note, where did you get the prices off this stuff?

You can't prove he was suggesting pirating. He said Windows "OS" i.e., the software. He didn't say crack or key generator. Downloading the software is perfectly legal if, say, you've lost your CD or DVD but still have the key.

i suppose, since i have an oem pc could i download one burn the iso to a cd and reformat my hard drive? lol
