Default mobo problems??

i just recently built a new computer, i used a MSI 750i mobo. but when i first turn on my computer a get 3 short beeps and 1 long i believe, what does that mean?

Can you be more specific as to what kind of motherboard it is, and do you know what kind of BIOS is has.

If I'm correct that motherboard has a small 'screen' on it somewhere. It normally displays two characters, does it?

the mother board is MSI P7N 750i SLI ready platinum

the rest of the computer is as follows:

Intel Core2 duo @ 2.13, 4mb shared (E6420)
Corsair 1 x 2gb DDR2 800 (PC26400)
PNY Verto Nvidia 9600gt
BFG 650 Watt power supply
Xigmatek Fan and Heatsink
Samsung DVD Burner CD Drive
Western Digital Raptor 10,000 rpm, 16mb cache HDD

According to the msi website:
1 long, 3 short Conventional/Extended memory failure
Might be something wrong with your ram, make sure its seated properly and in the correct slots.
